Thanks Rhonda, I'm definitely improving but having seen some of the dolls that other makers produce, I have some way to go.

Jo, we're blindest to our own achievements, sometimes. Your dolls are Amazing with a capital "A". Very few dollmakers produce dolls with such character and expression.

Your workmanship is flawless. I've looked at your Persian Prince's stockings and shoes a hundred times, and I marvel more and more at their perfection.

Ohhhh you know what would be fun? An 18th century macaroni..a fop! A beautiful powdered wig, lace ascot, silk vest and satin damask waistcoat, and a teeny little beauty spot on one cheek! Lovely ivory tipped ebony cane, and a flouncy feather for his gentleman's. Don't forget the bejeweled snuffbox. ACHOOOO!

LOL, I know you won't make everything I suggest but I have fun just thinking about you turning out beautiful dolls like that.

PLEASE DO make the Persian lady. I already love your other middle eastern woman, but she's a no-nonsense, working class lady...your Prince's woman will be drop dead gorgeous in beautiful robes!

Jeanne, thanks so much for the encouragement. I suppose we all have days when we feel that nothing we do is going to quite be good enough so its great to hear when somebody thinks you actually are.

And yes the persian princess will be next.
