Country store

How fun! I love this kit

I love this kit, but I don't think my store is going to be this "fancy". For starters the red and white awning is not included in the kit, and I was thinking of doing something that was a little more "back country road" and a little less "main street". I'd really like to try and stretch a bit with this one, outside of that little box of a comfort zone I seem to be stuck in . I'm going to try experimenting with paint colors and weathering the finishes. Wish me luck, this will be a first for me.

I loved building this kit but if you look in my gallery you will see I made it a Doll House store instead of a General Store. Its pretty easy to work with. Have fun!

Yes I know, I loved your doll house store, remember, I suggested the gold lettering on the windows. I'm going to do a little something different with this one. Ideas have been coming fast and furious all day, and I've been online all morning picking out the grocery items for it. For starters, I'm going to change the footprint and make it larger, and there will be three rooms instead of just one. It's going to have additional pieces outside (3 'built-ons"). I was supposed to do my Willow next, but she just didn't yell as loudly as the store did, so the store is next!

Isn't fun when the ideas just start popping into your head? Can't wait to see what you do with the additions!
