Brick wall with Exterior Light Step 1

pdlnpeabody

I knew for a while I would encounter a problem with installing working lights into brick walls. In real life, you would use a wet drill to bore a hole into a brick and run your wiring. Obviously that technique wasn't going to work in this scale. The solution was to pre-determine the location of the light and build a faux brick panel that would blend in with the real brick, but allow for easy installation of a light fixture. The first step is to mark the location with a pen and brick up to that point. Next, brick around the circle, maintaining spacing for the brick rows. a series of panels will be cut to fit the space.
