Red polyclay crock and utensils

Deb G

I tried polishing it with quilt batting per the instructions in Sue Heaser's book, but I think I'll use varnish, too. The utensils are my first attempt (you'll see them in the beige crock, too), and I plan to try again for a smoother finish.

Thanks! They're polymer clay, too. I want to refine the shapes more on the next ones, but I don't think these are bad for a first try.

Looks great Deb!!! I thought they were actual carved wood! You might try waxed paper or brown paper bad for polishing, sometimes they work really well! In the photos they look fantastic as is!
