I struggle with paint too. As it turns out I'm hopeless with brushes, so I use a paint roller whenever I can.

And for the life of me, I can't figure out why my colors differ from the color on the paint bottles (I use acrylic paint). I should take the time and paint samples first, let them dry overnight, then decide whether I'm going to use them.

I wanted to use a roller, but since the house was already put together, that was impossible.

Still the stripes give the house some charme. haha...
