Shingling is half done!

I know it's probably jumping the gun a bit to paint when I still haven't finished the sides and back of the roof, but I was just so tired of staring at white clay that I had to put the first wash on it. I want to keep it transparent, but a bit darker. I have two more days in this Labor Day weekend, so I hope to finish all of the roof and FINALLY get back to making the furniture.

Gorgeous! Just gorgeous! I don't blame you a bit for not waiting! I always want to see a bit of what it's going to look like right away! It's so hard to not "jump the gun" just a bit!
