The stairs have been reversed from the original house kit and the partition wall has been moved to the extreme right against the stairs to create as large a room/store as possible.

Because the stairs are now facing away from the "front door", a second opening had to be cut into the partition. This allows the space under the stairs to become a storage room-ette.

I really like the idea of putting the stair case the way you have it. I've been thinking of doing that myself.

Is that wallpaper above your chair rail? It looks so nice! I love the molding all around the floor and ceiling (nice touch)

I can't wait to get started on my boutique. :)
