Cut the end off of an eraser so that it will stand level on its own. You can buy erasers at the Dollar Tree 40 for $1.00. The colored erasers work fine too. Clean the inside of the eraser with a Q-tip (there's lots of eraser dust in there), then give the inside of the eraser a light coat of vegetable oil.
