Poke a straight pin into the bottom of the jar so you can use the pin as a handle while you are giving the jar a coat of clear nail polish. The nail polish removes any cloudiness created from sanding and makes the jar look more like glass. To make the lids, cut some circles of cardstock with a hole punch. Trim some of the circles so they are a little smaller. Glue together a stack of these hole punch circles, alternating large circles and small circles, until you have a stack consisting of 4 large and 3 small circles. Poke a pin into the bottom of the lid and paint gold. When dry, glue to the top of your canning jar. That's all there is to it!
