Thank you Monica. She is a custom doll going to China of all places. She is a concubine from an ancient era. The lady who ordered her has built her a little house like the emperor's did for their concubines way back then. Some dynesty way way back in time.

Sometimes I have a winner, and sometimes I don't. I always tell people when they want a custom doll from me to describe it in great detail - colors, hair style, eye color, etc., and whether they want specific items and/or send me a picture! Sometimes they do this, but the doll talks to me and tells me that she/he doesn't like this or that and doesn't want to be this or that. Like dollhouses, the little people have little minds of their own. One doll I have recently worked on has a real attitude! Anyway, this lady sent me 16 pictures of ancient Chinese concubines and I was to pick one. It was very difficult to pick one! So I picked things here and there from among them. She got her pictures yesterday and wrote back this morning that she really loved it and the colors are perfect for the "house" she is putting her in.
