Matching the original

One of the things I'm looking forward to when I build a kit from scratch is not having to match to something that was built 40 years ago. I'm very good at research, so not only have I identified the maker and pattern name of the existing wallpaper, but have been able to get my hands on a sheet of two of the three patterns. However, the originals of this staircase are a mystery. Based on all the other Houseworks items he'd bought, I assumed they made these, but none of the models I bought would fit. I broke down and ended up making my own.
