Finished Cafe table

SewMini

This is a little table that I had to put together. I wish I had gotten a photo of how they have you cut it out. First I cut out a sort of donut shape out of paper which I glued to the white under fabric. I then glued that to a table that I had made with two wooden circles and a dowel. Once you glued the white fabric to the top of the table, you glued the folds to your liking. After that, you glued the plaid fabric onto the top of the white fabric and draped it according to the folds. The lamp is made in a different set of steps that are in different photos.

The tea kettle is a large pony bead for the center. The spout is pretty genius in that they have you put thin white wire inside of thin clear tubing to create a kind of ceramic effect. You just cut the tubing wire combo at angles to glue it on at the right angle. The handle is more thin white wire and the top is a bead cap and a small gold bead.

You can't really see it but there is also a book on the table that's made from glued paper. The coffee cup and cookies were pre made items that I just glued together.
