Role Reversal

Sister Kyoya

I went looking for some white spray paint to see if it could be used on plastic, just to see what the requirements or prep might be. Stashed away in my craft supplies was some contact paper I had been saving for an 'important' project.

I figured if it failed I could just pull it off without ruining the trailer any further.

So on it went. I was concerned that it might not stick well to the vinyl, but it was so smooth that it gripped really well. So much that I nearly damaged the contact paper had to be readjusted twice. I'm sure it is not going anywhere. So again the windows and door were cut out. When I flipped it back over I was amazed.

I never would have expected it would look perfect for the interior. The gold dots remind me of details from old trailers I vaguely remember being in as a kid. I don't know why I find it so funny that this contact paper is from 1983, left in the house by Hubby's parents moved out (we live in his childhood home.) I hadn't worked out what I wanted to do for the interior walls and floors, so I'm super pleased that this happened.  I can't imagine it any different now.

Best of all is it completely erased my mistake.
