Got four done and joined together; I may have to experiment with hand sewing the blocks together as the seams on the machine are quite thick and stiff.  As it is I think if I iron the snot out of it it will lay flat.   Not much 'drape', though, ha.

What a challenge, but it looks lovely. You could get a permanent drape if you mold it over a form (think aluminum foil, waxed paper) to the designed final shape, then stiffen it with hair spray.
