Here's a better view of the ruffle under the crib, which is made out of a piece of a free Restoration Hardware fabric swatch (you can order these from their website). The swatch already had the scallops cut into it. The crib is an eBay purchase, it was originally glossy white and I painted it Tuscan Beige to match the rest of the nursery furniture.
