Here you can see the wall map, with “pins” showing the places my imaginary inhabitants have been. They clearly like to travel. The typewriter and phone are painted metal minis. The page in the typewriter has the full first line of Bulwer-Lytton’s iconic work, “It was a dark and stormy night. . . .” I definitely need more in this room. I decided to make a coffee table that looks like this. I was going to put the television in this room as well, but it blocked my desk, and I really want that to be visible.
