Are you going to paint your shingles? I think it will look lovely if you give them a grey wash..  :D 

I think after the shingles are repaired and any glue drips scraped off, that a light gray wash is exactly the thing it needs. I plan to remove the bricks from the foundation, and use a more natural looking egg-carton stone. The stone can incorporate the shingle colors, as well as add some gray and tan. I want the exterior to be really neutral and natural, with just a few bits of bold color.
