Barcelona Tiles for the Casa
So, I did it! I took out the wood plank floor and replaced it with terracotta tile. Or, as I like to call it, "Fauxcotta" :D. These simple but a bit tedious to make (just like the other ones). I got a medium piece of tan colored 16 X 20 art board (like mat board but made to take paints), a large tube of burnt sienna colored paint, and my Gaudi Casa Battlo inspired stamp that I ordered. I painted a small square of the card stock with a fairly thick layer of the paint and then pressed the dry stamp into the paint which left a negative version of the stamp in the paint. This gave the effect of stamped tiles. Though it's really subtle I love the look these produced.
