The exterior is primed black and the foundation is basically done. I painted the wood "Barn Wood" by Ceramcoat, sanded, recoated, then added Mod Podge "Brushstroke" for texture. The product is a texturizing medium, and added to give the illusion of a cement foundation. I just dabbed/smeared/patted it on, and let it dry Recoat with another coat of color, then a dirty wash of black/brown/gray to age it a bit. I may go back and add more "patina", but will wait until after the shingles are on to see if it needs to be dirtied up.
