This is going to be a build for a friend, who is an artist and a Pollock fan. I'm not really a fan of the art, but Pollock and this studio speaks to me. Pollock did the bulk of his most famous work in an old barn on his property in the Hamptons. He had the barn moved, to make view of the nearby river, and had a massive window installed to add light. It wasn't even heated, except for a small wood stove. He painted on the floor, so the wood was covered in drips and runs and smears of paint over the years. This was his sacred place. A place where he found solace from a world that he often found uncomfortable, where his dreams came to life in paint and canvas, where he made history, and where he changed the art world forever.
