Oh wow, how did you make the doors look like that?

Hi Jenn

I'm so happy that you like my door. I created all my doors for my house by taking the kit's plywood doors as the middle of my sandwich. Then I glued 1/16 inch bassword strips to the plywood on each side. The part that makes it look real is the 1/16 inch round dowels that I found at my hobby store. They are made by Midwest Products Stock #7903. They come packaged 10 dowels per package and are 12 inches long. I've used them on my doors and also for fluted moulding, like you see on the front of my bookcase. For the fluted moulding I use 3 to 4 dowels, whatever fills the space and it looks like real mouldings.
