Love the roof! Glad my sugestion helped, I had also tried a light grey first (around 1 portion black stain for 6 or 8 portions of water), but they didn't constrast enough with the blue so I went half-half for dark grey. I really like how the stain maintains the shinne and variations on the wood :)

Oh, my word!  This is breathtaking!  Everything is so beautiful!  Did you wallpaper, install the flooring, etc. before you did the glue up/nailing?  I am just slack jawed.

Thank you!    I did a lot, but not all, of the flooring and wallpapering as I went along (meaning, before installing side walls or the next floor).  Doing a dry fit (putting the pieces together with painters tape to see how they go together) is always an important first step, but is especially helpful in half scale.  That will give you a sense of those areas you will not be able to reach once the building is completed, and what needs to be papered/painted/installed before you glue.  Have fun!  I am looking forward to seeing your build!
