diorama for husband

a few years ago, my husband commented that I'd never made a dh/mini scene for him before. I've had that in the back of my mind ever since.

I found this wooden box for a buck at Goodwill, and I knew it'd be good for a diorama. Then I found the picture of a house in a magazine, and it kinda looks like our house. I got out my Mod Podge, paints and glue, scavenged the yard for pieces of bark (to resemble trees obviously) and found a few random Christmas mini's in my stash.

I trimmed the sides with silver glitter ribbon, just to make it look a little more finished and polished. Not bad for an afternoon's work!
