As you can see, they stack pretty nicely! I still need to paint them blue or grey, sand the lids and paint again, but it's a start. The best part of these is that since the lids are removable, I can store Halloween or Christmas decorations in them during the off season! These will all be placed in the attic of the house as it's become the storage/laundry area.

These are great!  Thanks for sharing your steps - I am saving that in my "mini file" for a future project! (I've got an attic to fill!)
