First try of wicker weaving. This is FUN! Still need to teeak and add brands here and there as well as a soft cushion, but it is getting there. Trying My hands on an oval shape too.

That is adorable!! I think I have an older mini booklet that tells how to make wicker furniture, but it looked way too tedious and complicated for me. Can't wait to see what else you make!

For the base I used a heavy card, mount bord (?), drilled holes in it with My new Archimedian drill, cake wire #22 and then a crochet cotton yarn/thread. Finished the bottom with the same fabric I used in the cushion and two different sized braids, one with two strands on top of the "Walls" and one with three strands around the bottom edge.
