Building Bunkbeds: 5

Of course when making a prototype it was at this point I realized my plans to stain this puppy had gotten lost in the excitement of building! and I was going to have to paint it. Fortunately I'm making this for two little boy dolls who will live here with their parents full-time, and I remembered the brightly painted bunkbeds from the Sears catalogs of the '70s. I lightly primed the piece with my flat white interior latex and I used my Benjamin Moore sample paints for color-specific priming after I saw they weren't givng me the effect I wanted.
