This is the part that began life as an Orchid. Upstairs will be bedroom and closet (?). Downstairs is living room and dining room.

The divider is not glued in yet. I have the opening facing the front of the house, and plan to line the opening with a thin strip of trim, to finish off the look and to cover the wallpaper seam, where dining room meets living room.

I don't think I'll glue that in until I have trim installed - it seems like it will be easier to reach that wall without a barrier!!
