PRIMROSE SIDE

PepperJoAz

This part of the house began as a Primrose. My father-in-law re-made the walls so the pitch of the roof would match the orchid. We also re-made the front wall (not yet attached, but coming soon), so that it would meet the room like the Orchid front wall does. Upstairs is the bathroom, downstairs is the kitchen.

Since we joined the 2 kits on the wall where the Orchid has a bay window, I'm going to use the bay for the front of the kitchen. We will be building the roof soon, and we'll add a small dormer for the bathroom that matches the dormers on the Orchid.

The dormer will add a lot. I've put a couple different dormers on Primrose's. They are quite adaptable. Just remember to make a pattern for the angle of where the dormer meets the roof before you cut anything. (yes, I know this the hard way!)
