More Flower Power! :flowers:

This is another SDK kit; camellias.

They are slow going, but quite satisfying! I've spent more than five hours on them today and don't know where the time went! :lol:

The first thing I did differently from the instructions was darken the smaller central petals to give the flowers more depth. Then for the buds, I checked our camellia plant which just happens to be blooming, and the buds are rounded like this but need the green sheath. The sheaths have rounded edges, so I just used some of the extra small punched flowers to make them and wound them tight. Voila, buds! I also checked the opened blossoms and the sheath doesn't fall off, so, although you can't see it in these pics, the full blooms have the opened sheath underneath.

I am insanely happy making these flowers. I think it's a sickness, LOL!
