For the inside I cut a piece of the rock paper to cover the entire fireplace wall because it looked weird to me otherwise. Then I cut out the tiny fireplace image and glued it on top of the stone paper. Voila, an interior stone wall with fireplace. At this scale it's really weird that the thickness of paper is sufficient from the side to give the illusion of depth when viewing the fireplace through the window
