KariW 569 Posted October 5, 2014 I really hope I can find these when I look today. My husband seems to think lowes will have them. You aren't screwing them in correct? You are glueing them in? Do you mind telling me what sort if drill you are using? I need a small drill. Quote Link to comment

MiniCrazy 250 Posted October 5, 2014 KariW I'm just using a pin vise with this very small area I don't know if I could control any power device well enough. I think the screw eyes should be relative to the thickness of the wood meaning the wood I was using was 1/8" thick so the eye outside diameter should equal the same diameter or close to it. Then the pin, I just used a brad I had laying around, should be close to the size of the inside diameter of the screw eye. Better fit means less slop between the hinge and the pin. You could use wire or maybe even a toothpick the size is key. Wow that is a great find! That is the size I used 8mm for 1/8" thick door Quote Link to comment
