You should create a blog to give us all your tips. This house is amazing.

I am actually considering doing a blog for my next house. I've got a deadline on this one, and have learned so much, a lot from mistakes, which I'm still making, so I'm still learning! . I am no longer working outside the home, so I have been able to spend a lot of time developing ideas, trial and errors included, and believe me, I realize how lucky I am. I really would like to share the things I have learned, I have always been artistic and creative, and yet have a natural aptitude for engineering. After learning so much from others who have posted and blogged and inspired my creative thinking, I want to do the same. I am actually going to scratch build my next house. Wish me luck! I've already started on the plans! But, until then, this is my project, deadline - Christmas Eve. Tried faux painting travertine on mat board today. Little third floor bathroom needs cool tile, seriously. So far, so good. Just waiting for it to dry. If this little experiment turns out, I'll post a tutorial, I've gotten a little better about keeping notes in order to do just that! I can't thank you all enough for your feedback and sharing your tips, too. It is so reassuring, and so wonderful, to know we're all in this together!
