Selkie 4,484 Posted July 2, 2014 Is Lundby the brand that is a little larger than 1:12 or do I have it backwards and it's a bit smaller than 1:12? I was thinking that Jeff mentioned something about that when he was discussing his collection. 1 Quote Link to comment
KariW 569 Posted July 2, 2014 It's a little smaller. I kind of wish I had done more research. My main concern was, is it wood. They described it on the lundby website as 1:18 scale, which freaked me out. But then it was reworded on here as 3/4 scale which is less scary to me. When I googled 1:18 scale furniture, I saw nothing. 3/4 scale, there was furniture to buy. I'm wondering if I can ignore it and do everything in 1:12 anyway? I'm a planner, but I'm going to have to wait and see it when it comes. Hopefully I will be less intimidated by a different scale once it's in front of me. Quote Link to comment
Selkie 4,484 Posted July 2, 2014 There are tons of diecast cars and trucks, etc. in 1:18 that would look great outside your house when you are landscaping. There is also Lundby furniture and kits to search out as well. Quote Link to comment
KariW 569 Posted July 2, 2014 I just spoke to the owner and she said she thinks it is 1:12. I googled the Gothenburg and didn't get much information as far as size.the owner said It is wood and it is papered inside and out. so, it sounds like it will be easy too strip. I hate having to wait to start planning, but it looks like I have no choice. she said she will ship it tomorrow. Having this forum explain that 1:18 is 3/4 scale made the search for furniture much easier. I love you guys. I'm so glad I found you. Quote Link to comment
