Shakyshaky
Miniman I keep trying to post in the swaps and then send a pm and my security software keeps saying it wants me to send my password and other personal info. Sorry but I could not let you know any other way ( if this goes through) Any thoughts?
Mini Man
Sorry about the troubles you're having Melanie. Is it just in the swap area or did you get the same message when you posted here? Was it the forum that was requesting your password and other info or your security software? If you're having trouble and can't respond to this, drop me an email. I am very interested in getting to the bottom of this. Thanks! Dean
Shakyshaky
So far it is swaps threads ( I tried to post in the kids swap thread) and I can't send a pm. The software says the site wants my password and account number.

Missymew
Dean/Melanie - I was having this same problem after I had uploaded Internet Explorer 7 onto our computer. When we contacted Hewlett Packard (brand of computer we own), they told us that the problems were because Internet Explorer was available, but not yet registered. Don't know if this applies to you Melanie. But I just thought I'd share an experience that I'd encountered late last year. We removed Internet Explorer 7 and have had no more problems. -Susanne
Mini Man
Thanks Susanne! Are you using Internet Explorer 7 Melanie?
Shakyshaky
Yup I am using IE 7, but we have been for quite a while and this just started yesterday. I was just able to send a pm. I'll go try posting in the swaps. I just tried and still can not post in the swaps threads. Okay so DH just told me that the laptop defaults to Firefox. The desktop is free for the moment so I will try there. Okay it worked on the desktop so I guess it must be the laptop. Oh shucks, I guess I can't use this laptop anymore. ( secretly dancing for joy) He'll just have to share the desk top.
Mini Man
I have IE7 on a unit at work. I'll see if I can't recreate the problem. In the meantime, you can always use Firefox on the laptop too. Sorry about the trouble!
