Can you cut or sand the openings where they slide together a little bigger?  Greenleaf dollhouses pieces often fit very tightly, so it's not unusual to have to do a little extra sanding or to cut openings a little wider.  It usually only takes a millimeter or so to make things fit.

Yeah, I finally got it figured out. I had to sand down the tab in the opening of the second floor and I was able to slide it better. It was challenging.
