Convert old dollhouse lamps to cell battery operated

Dollhouse lighting

Recommended Posts

Sounds like a fun project to refresh your daughter's dollhouse for your granddaughter.  Are the lights' wires hidden behind the wall and are the lights still working?  Some miniaturists hide the electrical lights' wires under the wallpaper, etc.  I am not sure it is possible to convert them to cell battery operation without having the wires and battery showing.  I am curious about that too.  If the electrical lights were never installed, I probably wouldn't use the electric lights.  I bought most of my battery operated lights from Miniland in Canada on Etsy.  Most of the lights are inexpensive, but my chandelier costs over $200.  No electric wires to worry about and their lights are super bright!!!

I suggest doing a google search. It is possible to convert them.

If you are on Instagram, Little House of Lights makes her own lighting and shares her sources.

Here are a few of her videos from You tube.
