I'd like to make magnetic LED lights

Hi!  I'm a new member, been working on dollhouses for many years but having difficulty finding pointers on this specific subject.  I have no difficulty with wiring a fixture to, e.g. a switched battery case, but a lot of the mass produced LED lights now come with a base that has a switch and a magnet built in so that you can embed a matching magnet into your wall, paper over it, and then attach the light gently and removably over the wallpaper (or paint).  I would love to know how to design and/or set up an LED base for watch batteries that is switched and has room for a magnet - it doesn't seem like these exist premade online, so I might have to 3D print the parts myself, which is fine.  If anyone's done it before, though, I'd love to hear about it before venturing into a long trial and error session.
