BlueRidgePaws
By a twist of Fate, a kit for a Dura-Craft Alpine is on its way to me, and I have some ideas for it. I've never actually seen this house; I've only seen pictures. Based on the pictures, I'm not sure I'm keen on the staircase in the middle of the downstairs. That might interfere with my construction plans. I wonder about: 1) pilfering a spiral staircase from an Ashley and putting it in the corner (will I even be able to find one and, if so, will it even fit???) OR... 2) leaving out staircases altogether OR... 3) maybe I'll like the stairs as they are once I see it come together, even though it bothers me right now in the pictures. Any thoughts from anyone on this? I'm still in my miniature-house-building infancy, but I'm already getting excited about kit bashing and willing to plunge ahead. 😆 Thanks in advance for any feedback! I found the tutorial, as well as a lot of other interesting stuff. The tutorial looks like something I'll try.
