Recommended Posts

Hi. Daintyville, Ohio is the name of "my town" where all my collectibles live.

Residents:

1:12 people

1:6 Fashion dolls (Integrity- biggest collection. Barbie and Mizi.)

Littlest Pet Shop (Generation 1)

Puppy in my Pocket (Generation 1)

Kitty in my Pocket (Generation 1)

Calico Critters

Small Snoopy figurines

Various Animals (different sizes)

I share pictures of my items often on Instagram. The majority are fashion dolls. https://www.instagram.com/daintyvillephotos/

Victorian houses, restaurants, and stores are my favorites. When I was younger I wanted to own a Victorian bed and breakfast. I am 38 now and the only Victorian house I own is 1:12 scale that I got in a fundraiser auction recently. I have never built anything from scratch. It needs some work so partly why I created this account.

I also have 1:6 Barbie Purple Victorian house . A table to take pictures of my diorama pieces that I that I switch out.

Thanks for reading. I’m excited to see all the resources and knowledge on this board.

Actually there are several Pinterest boards with 1:6 furniture, clothes and accessories you can make from scratch and here's a great site for making 1:12 goodies:  http://1inchminisbykris.blogspot.com/   Patricia King has two easy-peasy books to furnish your Victorian dollhouse:  https://www.amazon.com/Making-Victorian-Dolls-House-Furniture/dp/0946819564 and https://www.amazon.com/Making-Dolls-House-Furniture-Patricia/dp/0946819246 (which inclueds simple dolls, too).  Welcome to the little family, BTW.
