rebexan87
Hello, my names Becky and I live in South Yorkshire in the UK. I’ve just collected a 22 year old unmade Beacon Hill house kit, and I’m looking forward to trying to put it together! It’s an almost perfect kit, mostly still all together in the sheets, but has one broken wall piece and one missing roof support. I might be asking for help in the future! Hope everyone had a nice Christmas/ Happy Holidays!
havanaholly
Welcome to the little family, Rebekah. I had a Glencroft kit with some broken pieces; I carefully laid a thin bead of wood glue along one edge of the break and slowly fit the other edge into it to mesh the bits of wood fibers and ran strips of masking tape along both sides of the break and weighted it down with old textbooks until the glue dried (I gave it a couple of days, to make sure) and it dried nice and flat. If it's a horizontal break you may reinforce your mend with a chair rail/ picture rail.
