Fairfield wooden dollhouse Posted November 22, 2021 Share Posted November 22, 2021 I’m building the Fairfield doll house. I know I can varnish the wood floor I’m putting in but do I do anything to the walls? Do I use shellac on the walls or nothing? havanaholly Posted November 22, 2021 Share Posted November 22, 2021 Marsha, if you['re going to wallpaper or paint the walls you will want to prime them. I use flat white interior latex paint to prime. You can stain your floors whatever color you want to use on your floorboards, or you can scribe "boards" into the floors and stain them.
