Pat Barnes 35
I’m ready to put the roof on the Pierce. The instructions say, “Sight along peak formed by front and back sections.” I don’t know whether one section of the roof should overlap the other side to make a pointy peak, or whether the two pieces should butt together, forming a tiny valley. Maybe it doesn’t matter, but if it does, I don’t want to find out the hard way! Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
havanaholly
If you have roof peak trim and plan to use it you will glue it along that little valley; if you don't, you can either butt it or shingle over that valley. You can fill any wee spaces from below with spackle or joint compound.
