I downloaded the java.tried the chat room. heard the doorbell,the screen changed to blue,white,black.I couldn't post or read anything. Nameless1 Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 Not to distract from the possibility that we need to fix something -- but Java sometimes weirds out if your computer has been running for a while. When you didn't respond I wasn't sure if you could read them and couldn't send or whether you even knew I was there trying to reach you. I do hope you manage to get it working. Minis On The Edge Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 When ever you download new software to your computer, you should always reboot before you do anything else. It is also good sometimes to not do anything else on your computer while you are downloading something. If Wende's advice about rebooting don't work, Uninstall Java and then Reinstall it again.
