Free Historic Needlework Patterns

Lately a lot of threads have been about needlework for our dollhouses. I just found this on the internet:

http://www.antiquepatternlibrary.org/

It's a place where people have been scanning and posting their old, public domain patterns for needlework and other stuff. I haven't had a chance to look around too much, but I did see some stuff under crosstitch which would be great for rugs. There are tons of things in the library!

I looked around again last night, just before I went to bed, and saw some rug and tapestry patterns that will be going up after they are scanned. This looks like it is going to be a great resource if enough people are able to contribute to it!

OMG! As an historical costumer, this is relevant to ALL of my interests! Thank you!

I've always been interested in historic costumes and other needlework too, so I love that site. I'm so glad you found it useful!
