rodentraiser Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 I remember being in the Santa Cruz Mts about 20 years ago where we could see and smell the smoke from a fire almost 250 miles away. People up here in the Northwest don't seem as concerned about fires as people in California are. I know it rains more up here but I see all those trees and think if we have just one or two dry years, a fire could burn from Seattle to Portland and not run out of any fuel. It's scary.
