Gonzo
I have seen in the forum and the gallery that quite a few folks have used Braxton Payne's pottery and fireplaces. Has anyone ever built one of his quarter scale roombox kits? How about the 1:144 scale kits? I have an opportunity, but am not sure about the quality. I will see Braxton in Chicago this weekend, but wanted to get some feedback from those of you that have tried some of these kits. Thanks. CheckMouse
I hadn't even seen his stuff until you mentioned it. The 1:144 kits look pretty simple; I wouldn't want one.

Well, I know the 1:144's are made out of paper. The 1/4 scale is supposed to be wood, but he really doesn't have any good pictures. The pictures on the dealer side of the site are smaller and show less detail. Maybe he will have some with him. I do love his fireplaces!
