Anya
If any of you don't know about this already I was surfing the net looking at Beacon Hill style houses to get inspiration on colour schemes when I came across this site. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/wrapper_pcv.a...tproj&N=intproj Its an online interior design programme. There are a few exterior pics of houses (real ones) and you can change their colour schemes. There are also interior pics of different rooms to choose from for you to change the colours too. It has really helped me decide what colour to paint my Beacon Hil!
hydroped
If you have a Home Depot near you they carry a cheap program that will do the same thing - I think it's around $5.00 - I haven't tried the online one you mentioned but with the Home Depot version you can take a photograph of your house or room (or dollhouse room) import it to the program and change the colors (there are tools to cut out plants, pictures on the walls etc so they don't get painted over)- so you can see just what Your room will look like in any paint colors. Kinda cool. You can mix and match too - for example in my bedroom I have 3 walls one color, one wall (my focus wall) in an alternate color and I like the cielings to be separate so that's in a complimentary lighter tone. The program will let you do different colors on different walls and trim Kinda fun. -David
