Click on the 'My Blog' icon at the top right of your screen and then click on the 'add entry' button and it will take you into a screen similar to the one where you post a message. Click on the browse button at the bottom, select your picture and open it, then press 'add this attachment'. I find I have to click on that button twice to make it work. It will put the picture ID in a little box underneath the file attachment window. Then when you're ready to add it into your blog, you simply press the "add into post" button next to the appropriate picture and it will automatically insert it into your blog wherever your cursor is.
