Charlene
I'm sure one of our clay artists will be able to answer this. On my sports bar, I want to do the outside totally in brick. No problem, bricks I can do. What I want to create on the corners and near the 'basement' of the building are raised bricks. This is the type you see where it looks like there is one row of bricks directly on top of another. So they're sitting forward the entire depth of the brick. Now, to do this with clay, do you just use a deeper layer of clay or do you build it up by adding clay on? Am I imagining this harder than it is? Minis On The Edge
Charlene, you will achieve this effect by adding more clay on the ones you want to stick out
parisbabe
You could also make a uniform square "snake" of the clay so you would have the same size and thickness all around Wen
