DH Kitchen Slate Floor

For the slate floor, I took the cover cardboard off an old book. Then I spackled it to give it texture. Then I painted it with shades of grey, blue and copper to make it look like slate. Then I cut it into 1 inch squares. I rearranged them all and glued them to the floor. I used a brown contact cement as grout.
